Book: Temptation and Treachery
Author: Sahara Roberts
Genre: Military Romance, Erotica

My Rating: ★★★

Synopsis:

Andres “Rio” Rivera became his ICE profile years ago. Cold and calculating, he never promises anything beyond right now. But when he ends up with a cancelled flight and a shared hotel room with the secretive Celeste Patron, the fire behind Celeste’s buttoned-up exterior melts every barrier. He may only have her for one night, but that’s long enough to make her every fantasy come true.
When Celeste leaves, Rio returns to hunting a notorious cartel leader. His shock upon arresting the man is eclipsed when he discovers the woman he fell for is his daughter…and she’s pregnant with Rio’s baby.

Review:
A tempting read…

After inclement weather grounds a flight, leads to an intense encounter with a woman he wasn’t supposed to fall for. Andres (Rio) is an ICE Agent. He never gets attached to another person, until he met Celeste. But there are secrets they most come to terms will forever impact their lives.

This was a difficult read as the characters seemed to lack chemistry with each other. Rio is a strong, dominate character, but didn’t feel there was much to Celeste except her connections to Rio’s mission and their night together.
