Review:
An intriguing romance with lots of surprises!

Asher Black is a suspenseful thriller that is intriguing.  This was a well-written story that keeps you invested. It is a little slow at the beginning but it doesn’t take long to hook you. The book will then be hard for you to put down. You never know what is going to happen next.  The characters are well developed. Lucy is a strong and independent woman. Asher is dominate man that wants to right the wrongs that happened to Lucy. I liked that it wasn’t an instant love. The author had them get to know each other amongst all the sexual tension between the two. The secondary characters added quite a bit of depth to the story. I enjoyed the interchange and at different times the amusing banter between the characters. Parker Huntington did a great job of bringing a superbly written book with a fresh storyline.

Lacy Laurel did a good job with the narration. She had a clear and crisp voice that was easy to follow. She made the listening experience enjoyable.

This is the first book that I have read by Parker S Huntington. I recommend Asher Black to anyone that enjoys reading a suspenseful thriller with a touch of romance that will keep you entertained all the way to the end.
