Synopsis:

One wrong move, and she meets a guy with all the right ones…
Talia Dalton lives her life on cruise control. Despite her successful career as a professor, she prefers protecting her broken heart to taking chances. She’s calm, cool, collected, and steady. Until the morning she takes her eyes off that familiar road and almost runs over the sexiest man she’s ever seen. It may not be the best way to start the day, but it might be the type of shake-up she needs.
Male dancer Derek Grant has goals, and nothing is going to get in the way of achieving them. As a graduate student and the sole caretaker of his ailing father, he hasn’t much time for relationships. Then Talia crashes into his life. Sweet, pretty—and so buttoned-up that he can’t wait to help her cut loose.
For Derek, falling in love was a beautiful accident waiting to happen. And it might be exactly what Talia needs—if she’s willing to let go of the past and embrace every surprise Derek has to offer.

Review:

A heart touching, passionate and sweet romance!

Love Like Ours is the third book in the Sugar Lake series. Full of romance and passion this story will touch your heart. It is well written and full of love, humor, steamy heat and a little heartbreak (and not in the way that you think).  The plot moves at a steady and consistent pace with a fresh, new storyline that is easy to read. It is captivating and kept my attention to the very end. This is a story that will make you smile and break your heart while mending it in the best way possible.

The characters were well developed and easy to like. Melissa takes a romance and combines real-life situations that form a book that is one of a kind. She definitely does her research on different life situations. Having a grandfather that suffered from Alzheimer’s and a grandmother that had dementia, this illness is very dear to my heart. I thought Melissa did a fantastic job with it while not sugar coating it. She really shows the struggles and the life-altering effects the disease has on not only the individual but also the family members/caretakers. Melissa knows how to create a story with enough romance and easy to relate to life situations to keep the reader invested.

Love Like Ours is another book by a very gifted author that I had the pleasure to read. I have not been disappointed yet! Melissa Foster is a very talented author that tells remarkable stories that captivate you and will have you not wanting to put the book down. Definitely, an author that you will want to keep on your go-to list. If you enjoy reading a romance that is entertaining, then you will thoroughly enjoy this book. A true heart touching and passionate read.
