AT Stake is the 7th installment in the Alex Troutt Thriller series. It brings you on a brand new adventure that you don’t want to miss. AT Stake is an extremely well written story with strong characters and incredible twist and turns. It was easy to read and follow with a unique plot. There is a lot of action and suspense to grab your attention from beginning to end. Once I started reading, I did not want to put the book down. The many players in this story help create a unique and thrilling read. There is always enough descriptiveness in John W Mefford’s books that you feel you are there watching it happen. The characters are well developed and engaging. Whenever you pick up a book by Mr. Mefford, he will take you through many emotions and on the thrill ride that you come to expect.

John W Mefford knows how to bring a story to life, give you a thrill and keep your attention. He is a very talented writer that I have come to enjoy and look forward to what he comes up with next. John does a great job of intertwining the characters from his different series. This author is definitely high up on my go-to author list. A must-read for those who enjoy thriller suspense novels.
