Growing up in a Papua New Guinea mission, Joss Palmateer is a gentle soul with a unique view of life. Still adjusting to a new home in the US and the sudden loss of her mother, love is the last thing on her mind.
Sexy physical therapist Ben Montgomery meets his sister's friend and the sparks fly. He takes it as a challenge when she ignores his advances, but it's her extraordinary inner beauty that captures his heart.
With the help of a stray homing pigeon and an old origami legend, Ben sets an unwavering course of romance to win her love.
A Sweet Romantic Love Story
Joss is a strong independent woman who has sacrificed a lot for her family. After moving from Papua New Guinea to Chicago for her sister to attend a prestigious university, their mother dies in a sudden car accident. She is left to pick up the pieces of her shattered world and start over with her sister.
Joss eventually meets Ben at a party and realizes he is a bit of a player. But he wants to show her there is more to him than she believes. It is a constant attempt to get Joss to change her opinion, but he will stop at nothing to prove himself.
I love how Ben decided to show who he really was by his romantic gestures. It was a story that had depth to the plot and wasn’t just about getting the other in bed. It was about showing how much one person truly cared for the other.
